The Vagaries of World Travel

Today Randy got to see one of the most beautiful spots in the world-Matema Beach on Lake Nyasa.  It was a vacation day.  He got to meet Amani’s family who live in the area. But being at Matema also meant that we could not Skype because there you use a different modem system with fewer bytes of info sent at one time.  So we talked through instant messaging.   My favorite message of the day was “remind me to tell you about short stops, cocoa pods and cows with no reverse when I see you.”  I have no idea what that means but it sounds intriguing.  And I am still trying to make the connection with computers on that one, but I think it has something to do with the vagaries of world travel.   Safe journeys my brave husband.

One of the beautiful sights in Tanzania
