Mission Fair Today

Anne and I spent the day (8AM to 1 PM) at Mission Central in Mechanicsburg.  This is the United Methodist warehouse and distribution center, the home of Computer Ministry and the launching site for our container to Tanzania.  The Mission Fair provided  several ministries opportunity to display their vision and work.

We made some new connections with folks who offered to share the news of what we are doing, especially offering to help gather more text books for the next container to SHUCo.  We did a radio interview about our work and the cooperative spirit of many people of differing faith  traditions.  Campus chaplains and several faculty members from area schools offered to share our “wish list” for science equipment, books and advice.

It was a good day to bear witness to the grace of God and our ongoing invitation to “Develop Partnerships for Life.”
