Building Relationships for life…

This is our mission statement in its simplest form.

It is what many of us see God doing every day.  Sometimes in surprising ways and places.  Lunch with a former Baptist, Brethren, Mennonite now Lutheran…friend.  Worked through a plan for our next step (beyond constant and daily prayer) with Anne.  Received a call from Pastor Kurt Garbe from North East Penn Synod.  Their Tanzanian diocese is right next to ours.  We have hopes and dreams of sharing ideas and resources.  Even got an email from Provost Mwankenja at SHUCo inviting me to March 3rd official ceremony recognizing SHUCo’s university status.  Unable to attend 😦

“Alone” is important for many reasons but today, “relationship building” blossomed and gave new life to some of the dark and dry places of my soul where doubt whispers and uncertainty demands relief or at least, attention.  Thanks be to God for partnerships and life.  Thanks be to God for today.
