Moving right along
Last Sunday God did some more amazing things in the educational ministry to Tanzania. Sixteen folks prayed, planned and opened new doors of inquiry and partnership. Randy was invited to briefly describe our mission and ministry to an amazing group of students and faculty at Messiah College, The Collaboratory, before their evening worship time. Our efforts to gather books, lab equipment and supplies for nurse training have been shared in several academic circles there as well as in Shippensburg, Amherst, Massachusetts and Concord, New Hampshire.
Our friends at Mission and Relief Logistics (MRL) have found 78 hydraulic hospital beds and 40,000 pounds of hospital equipment that we can have on the cheap for hospitals in South Central Tanzania, we just need God to help us find $20,000 to ship the two, forty foot containers from Great Britain! Amazing Eva of MRL also connected us to a woman in Orlando, Florida, who has a beautiful Singer treadle sewing machine that wants to go on a mission to Tanzania but cannot get to Mechanicsburg, at the moment. Maybe God will supply a Pennsylvania “snow bird” with room in his/her vehicle to get it here in time for shipping in our container.
Adam and Jackieraye are helping with links to Amazon for book purchases.
Myrna and Laura are trying to organize Randy’s administration.
Anne is dreaming of a food fundraiser because “That’s what I do.” And Randy and Pastor Amani are rubbing their bellies instead of Isaac’s, just thinking about a feast.
Hold onto your hat. The wind of the Spirit continues to blow. Surprises, and blessings and grace abound. Thanks be to God.
