It was still in the box with all of its accessories, brand-new and on the yard sale table. My neighbor, who knows the whole story of tech4tanzania saw the stethoscope on her weekend yard-saling jaunt trying to find some things for her house and nabbed it for us, but not without telling the owner where it was going and why. Stories like that have happened a lot lately. A man who sat next to Randy waiting for his take-out dinner wanted to know what we were doing with those pieces of paper in front of us. We told him that it was a discussion about our “Africa project.” He took his dinner and the story home to his wife who called us the other day with an offer for high school text books. The story is traveling, meandering, branching out, and we never know where and how it will return to us next. Sewing machines and medical equipment, books and funds for shipping are all welcome and appreciated. And so are the carriers of the story. Thank you.
